There is a key at the top of
/opt/matterhorn/felix/config/services/org.opencastproject.capture.impl.ConfigurationManager.properties
called org.opencastproject.capture.core.url. The value for this key
needs to be set to the URL of the core and then the agent must be restarted.

Are the third party tools installed? What happens when you try and run
mediainfo from the commandline on the core?
