Hrm, a few things jump out first: 1) Make sure the core version dropdown is set correctly. Things changed between 1.1 and 1.2 so the right version is very important. 2) The Core URL requires the port, as well as http://, eg: http://example.org:8080 Obviously the username and password need to match the core's settings as well.
