we're doing a pilot with hd capture, 1080i. Here's some data from
today's capture, which was 40 min long:
591MB professor.mpg
510MB VGA.mpg
55MB Audio.mp2
Me + my colleagues have been surprised how small those files are!

For us it seems 32 Mbit/s gives good enough quality from further
processing. My colleagues, who are more knowledgeable in the
spesifics, have told me we should also try x264, when we have some
spare time for the testing. :-)
