Hi,
I'm quite desperate: all week long we've been trying to get a 3hours lecture
processed, but it never succeeds. It takes forever, and always there was an
error short before the ending (various reasons, some I could work around).
When I look at the logs I notice, that for example the encoding commands of
player-slides (there are like 200 in the file), takes longer and longer and
longer as time goes by.
The first slides take like 5 seconds, and then it takes more time, so after
like 100 slides it takes 5 minutes to encode the slide.
I already minimalized the workflow and added threads support to the ffmpeg
(-threads 4) (but jpeg isnt a supported codec for that it seems), but this did
nothing to the problem.
I have no anymore what to do and where to begin. Is it possible that the memory
leak error is the culprit of this behavior? Is there anything I can do?
The machine has 6GB of memory, Java Heap Space is set to 2GB, it has 4 cores
active.
Begging for help, Andreas Krieger
