Both 1.3.x and trunk use 0.7.5, you might have to do some trickery with macports though.
To get mac ports version to work again I had to remove /Users/shared/dports/multimedia directory and then use portindex -f /Users/shared/dports Then try self-updating port, and installing ffmpeg again.
