we here in Osnabrück would definitly be interested in replacing our
Hauppauge cards with a more up to date solution that does h.264 hardware
compression.
We currently have around 20 Hauppage cards that would need to be
replaced. Are you having a distributor in germany, by the way?
From many of the other german adopters I know that they are desperately
searching for an external solution. They all want a mobile solution
somehow and would like to use a notebook as a capture agent. The Epiphan
devices are available as USB but be have not found a satisfying linux
solution for hardware compressed video capturing. The blackmagic h.264
recorder is too proprietary.
Are you planing a USB version?
