The dates and location have been set for the first Opencast Matterhorn
Community Meeting: *January 31 - February 1, 2012 in Oxford, UK*.
Further details will be shared soon, but essentially this will be an
unconference style meeting open to everyone with an interest in:
- Adopting and implementing Matterhorn,
- Ramping up expertise to customize, extend and integrate Matterhorn,
- Contributing to the next phase of project development,
- Connecting and collaborating with other community members, and
- Participating in discussions around roadmap and the future of the
Opencast community and Opencast Matterhorn project.
We are anticipating a small registration fee to offset the costs of the
facility (around $40 USD).
Please mark your calendars and stay tuned for details! We hope to see
you in Oxford!
At this time I am also asking for volunteers to join a planning
committee to organize this meeting. Please email me directly at
[email protected] if you are interested in helping to plan the
meeting.
