I do it on our capture agents in a shell like this
sudo /etc/init.d/matterhorn start
and *always* get the mentioned message as a reply on the default
console output, but don't care about it, since there are no apparent
negative effects to the functioning of the system.

distribution, I wonder if you may get any hints from the Felix user list, as I
don't think this is Matterhorn related.
