I'm curious on this device too, is it similar in hardware spec to the MCD? With respect to the MCD instabilities, we bought it with the understanding that it was still available as a beta device, so we're willing to roll a bit with the instabilities.
You should be able to hook up the x2 to Matterhorn with some fairly straight forward scripting I think, using the inbox model. Some of the automation features might be limited.
