it's late in the evening, so excuse me unexperienced shot on this:
The issue here (short cut video) seems similar to the issue discussed
in
http://opencast.3480289.n2.nabble.com/Matterhorn-users-duration-issue-problem-with-audio-video-sync-tt6355528.html
ie. 2 equal ffmpeg versions on 2 machines handle the output
differently/cause errors, on some files.
Is it possible that with the seperate mh-worker installation the
source file (Screen.mpg) is inspected too early (ie. before it is
completely copied to the reference location (http_core.server/...) ?
This guess comes from the experience, that there were similar encoding
errors when I tried to activate multithreading.
Is this possible, or not?

and the processed recording (video part) is cut short, ie stops somewhere in
the middle (audio continues).
If we run the same processing of the recording on a OneInAll core machine
(admin,worker,engage) with the sepearte mh-worker deactivated, the processing
goes just fine.
ffmpeg versions are the same on both machines (0.6).
Has anyone experienced similar problems, or is there an idea around why this
would happen?
