This is a very fresh concept so I can't be very specific, so please excuse.
1. MH LDAP authentication.
This is already done via a proxy. The idea is to have an open access to
recordings from inside university, and protected via ldap authentication when
accessing from outside.
But it can also be set to authenticate always.
2. The SSO with Moodle.
We do not run Moodle at our university as we use Moodle service provided
by ULCC http://moodle.ulcc.ac.uk/
Therefore they will do the SSO implementation. I will try to contact them
tomorrow and let you know more details.
3. The Moodle to MH integration.
The concept is very simple. We will use the RSS feed to pass recordings
too Moodle. The feeds can be preselected according to student's subject of
study or lecturer department name.
Otherwise feeds will be displayed following the search results (this is
probably more flexible) - this was tested with a positive result.
The user will move then the selected recording (name or icon) to the
course working area, the icon should expand to a playable window. My
colleague is currently working on it.
As I said we are in a very early stage, so it may change.
