Jason, Couple of options. First, you could just use two webcams and make sure to set one as a presentation source instead of a presenter source. Second, you could capture the ubuntu desktop Using a custom gstreamer line and the ximagesrc element. For this latter, you might have to see if Adam mckenzie can help with a gstreamer line, I'm not sure if it is possible with 1.2 agents.
