Yes and we have restictions to the filesize and bandwith of the encoded
video. We could setup a (commercial) infrastructure here to fulfill some
of the requirements, but we want to make sure that we have an open app
that other adopters can use too.

now finally accepted for iOS too. After some month of additional development we
have accomplished that the app is now fulfilling Apples guidelines. Now you can

The Android and iOS versions are nearly identical, but the iOS version has the
restriction that videos can only watched on wifi [3].
Currently only recordings from Osnabrück are available there, but we are open
to add additional Matterhorn servers to the list. If you want us to add your
Matterhorn Server:
1. Be aware that your recordings become public available. We currently don't
support a login, so if you have used the authentification in Matterhorn 1.2+
only your public recordings will be available.
2. Your Matterhorn server must be reachable from everywhere. If it's restricted
to your local network only we can not accept it.
3. You must use RTMP-streaming. For an unkown reason the iOS version currently
only works with streaming (the Android version is fine with progressive
download too).
4. We recommend that you use the "encode media in different qualities"
workflow, as we would then use the low bandwith videos, which load much more reliable
than the default size.
If all conditions are okay for you please send me a mail with the URL of your
engage server, the name under which we should list it in the app and your
contact details. We will check then if everything works as expected and add it
to the list of available servers.
