I'd to add that I also have on loan the Ncast PR720 since the
February, and I have spent lots of time testing it completed by 15
hours of live recordings.
My general impression is very positive and we plan to install 5 or 6
devices in our biggest lecture theatre, once the capture project is
accepted by the university executive board.
We are also working on implementation of Extron device to control the
PR720 capture process via the touch panel.

Olav,
Unfortunately the meeting was not recorded, not due to technical
difficulties but because no one actually started the recording.
There are the meeting notes. Not so much but you can get a picture of
what was discussed there:
1) Cambridge, MA USA meeting: Harvard is host; June 6-8;
registration will open soon. Un-conference format - more to
follow here:
http://opencast.org/event/matterhorn-north-american-unconference-june-2012
2) Matterhorn 1.3 experiences : Berkeley's four agents running
1.3 crashing frequently;
running reference agents w/Ubuntu
3) Matterhorn 1.4 plans - test plans coming soon; still some
release blockers.
* RC01 is cut
4) Vendor-supplied capture agents - Berkeley is testing loaner
from NCast; look for announcements from Entwine very soon ..
Both NCast and Entwine are engaged in pilot projects at this time
.. some NCast pilot users control agents w/AMX, Crestron, etc.
HC points out that a new version of Galicaster is coming out;
looking at supporting new cards. Announcement coming soon ..
5) H.264 testing commences soon - CB: The goal for 1.4 is to
switch to h264 as default capture encoding
6) Operating Matterhorn Discussion Group - JG: the
in-the-trenches adopters right now need to go to the dev meeting;
perhaps a
second venue for adopters would help (?).
7) Adopter Roundup
Notherwestern
Helsinki
Saskatchewan
Vigo
Others?
I hope somebody (myself, if I can attend) will remember to start the
recording in the next meeting, so that people unable to attend can at
least watch it later.
Best regards

Greetings. The monthly Matterhorn Adopters meeting will be
held this
Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 3 p.m. UTC/GMT (5 p.m. CET, 11
a.m. EDT, 8
a.m. PDT).
I was regretfully unable to attend for more than a few minutes
yesterday. Is a recording of the meeting going to be published
somewhere?
