Are you migrating from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1, or 1.2.something to
1.3.something? There is no upgrade path between 1.2 and 1.3, however
upgrading from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 should be very simple. There will be an
upgrade path between 1.3 and 1.4 once 1.4 is closer to release. I
honestly don't know how difficult it would be to switch between a single
core, and a distributed model. I would think that moving the content to
a shared disk and changing some configuration values would work, but to
my knowledge this has not been attempted. I've CC's the
matterhorn-users list on this email, perhaps someone there has an idea
or has done this before?

Yep for sure. If you want you can certainly add it to our wiki as well,
either as a working draft or a complete document.
