opencast.log in the logs directory, just after the system has finished
starting.

Taking a quick look at the configuration files, you appear to have
avoided all of the common pitfalls.  I don't know if this will fix
things, but your organization file has "server=10.88.88.24", and this
should be "server=http://10.88.88.24";.

Other than that I think I'm going to need to see the actual logfile.

Depending on the full error this can be normal (try and include it in
the log file?).  It just means that it's generating a new file.
