Hi Earl,

this is as far as I remember the discussion an expected behaviour, but this
must not mean that it is the best behaviour in such a situation. I guess the
idea was to do it this way becaus it must not be a failure, if the
communication to the CA is interrupted. The CA is designed to work without a
internet connection if needed (that must not apply to all 3rd-party CAs). So a
missing response here must not mean that the recording is lost.

But maybe it would be the best to create a ticket for this. Then a maybe better
solution can be discussed there.

Thanks
Rüdiger

Hi,

I noticed during our bug bash today that if a recording fails with "WARNING:
Recording may have failed to start or ingest!" that it stays in the Upcoming
category, but I'm thinking that it might be better put in the Failed category.
So is this a bug or is this the expected behavior?

Thanks!
Earl
