Hi,

We've also experimented with putting 2 videos side-by-side into youTube or iTunes and run into the same issue.

The 'in.video.path', as I understand things, is set for each operation from the source-flavor filter in the workflow definition, and is set to the matching source for each operation created. So each compose operation has no knowledge of the other sources.

Anyone know of a potential solution other than to write a custom workflow handler or writing a hack-workflow that encodes an extra copy of a file to a know static name for use in a subsequent compose job?

    Hi Stephanie,

    Welcome to Matterhorn!

In fact, UC Berkeley currently (using Podcast Producer) is
distributing to iTunes and YouTube. We are the ones that put in
the additional feature in Matterhorn (via a contract with Entwine)
to include iTunes and YT distribution in MH.

So we are kind of in the same boot!

We are also finally starting to really test iTunes and YouTube
distribution, so I am afraid I do not have the answer for you. We
are aware of the issues involving how to distribute recordings
with 2 video streams to iTunes and YouTube, which are single video
source distribution channels. I am pretty sure that it is
possible, but I do not think anyone has actually tackled this
issue yet. It looks like you may have had some success in
stitching together the video and screen capture, but ran into some
issue. Hopefully, a developer will be able to help you out in this
    work.

Hi. I'm new to Matterhorn, and wonder what the story is with
        iTunesU. I can
get an RSS feed address from my recordings, but we capture 3
        streams -
presenter/presentation/audio. When I play them in the Engage
        player I get
both videos (side-by-side) with audio. But when I play the
        content in
iTunesU, or Windows Media Player, I only get the
        presentation/audio. And
when I only capture only the presentation and audio, I'm not
        sure it even
        gets to iTunesU???

Is it possible to get the presentation & presenter streams
        combined for
distribution to other players? If so, how? What needs to be
        added/changed
in the workflow or encoding files to do this?

        Or, is it not possible?

If it is possible, I will continue to research. If it is not
        possible, then
I will direct my efforts toward some other approach.

        Thanks,
        Stephanie
