Hi all,
Currently we use LTI for auth (though are likely to switch to or add CAS soon), and use an auth provider which looks up user/role mappings from our Sakai 2.x LMS, which enables a series in Matterhorn to be associated (auth-wise) with a particular site in Sakai. Olaf noticed I'd snuck in a question about authorization on another thread. The question was, how are most people handling auth? I'm currently leveraging CAS for authentication, and using a postgres DB for authorization. I have LDAP at my disposal as well, and we will probably eventually use that for authorization. Or maybe Shibboleth - the people doing those are outside my tiny sphere, so to speak, so it's going to be a bit there... I'm satisfied with what we're rocking now though. I did a simple front end for user/role management (sadly not inside MH itself -- I tossed my favorite CFML engine into felix and hit up the DB from there, due to time constraints and lack of MH orientation that only comes with time). Anyways, I'm curious as to what the most common configurations are in the community at the moment. LDAP? CAS+LDAP? CAS+DB? SAML? Etc. :Denny -- Life's a voyage that's homeward bound.
