Hi Steven,

Hector Canto recently mentioned on the Galicaster list that he was using a C920 
with Galicaster based agents and that it was much smoother than the C910 that 
I'm using. Might be worth dropping him an email.

We have the c920 and they work quite better than c910. We capture on MJPEG, 
since RAW doesn't fit USB 2.0 bitrate on high resolutions.

Fortunately, support for h264 hardware encoding has just been announced for 
Gstreamer, so on the webcam+framegrabber scenario the load
will lower once implemented.

This is the successor to the Logitech C910. The C920s will do 1080p HD
with hardware H264 compression, which looks good. However, looks like it
would require a recent kernel version and possibly some other tweaks:
