Steve,

I did a test with the short date in createdate, and didn't have a problem
parsing it, so ignore that. I'm using 1.4.x, not 1.3.1, so I can't speak to
1.3.1.

In MH 1.4.RC2, in the Admin UI, Recordings tab has a n "Upload Recording"
button. The upload recording UI has a few fields to add Dublin Core metadata
such ad a title and presenter name for the recording. You can add a couple
metadata values, select a local file and a workflow and the system should
ingest it. Matterhorn will format a dublin core and mediapackage file based on
the values you added through the UI.

If you are using the REST endpoints directly, it may be tricky to set the right
set of required values with the right syntax. If you have access to the raw
code. You can see if there is a test class that constructs a working example of
an ingest mediapackage.

There is a wiki page that discusses Matterhorn metadata parameters. It's work
in progress, so may not completely reflect code implementation.

Best of luck,
Karen
