The Capture Agent is a device you install in your recording venue (e.g:
a classroom), while the Core Server is the something that is installed
behind the scenes. Your users will access a core, and do not normally
have access to the capture agent at all.

For instance, I have five classrooms each of which has a capture agent
installed in it. These capture agents record and send their captures to
a central core server cluster. This cluster can be a single machine,
however Matterhorn can be a bit resource hungry so most installations
split this across multiple machines. In my case, my core server is a
cluster of four machines: an admin node, two worker nodes, and an
'engage' node. Students accessing their recordings do so from this
engage node, and do not have access to any of the other machines.
