Johannes, As per your second remark, I can't be 100% because I haven't gone through the code, but it seems to me like the service is returning a "success" error code (204 means "success, but no content to return"), but the other part is expecting a 200, which is an error imho. Unless, of course, the deletion of the file was further tested and proven to have failed (and nothing was reported to the logs except the ERROR). But if the ERROR comes directly from the previous WARN, it is caused by a misinterpretation of the 204 code.
