I agree with Nils that the Matterhorn logo doesn't provide the right cue. We
need an icon designer! (I wonder if there's someone in the Opencast community
who would volunteer?)
I also think that "Open Engage Player" isn't very helpful, since "Engage" isn't
meaningful to those outside our Matterhorn/Opencast community. (Some quick user
testing would be ideal...I'll try to do some in the next few weeks. Nils, have
you had feedback from your students about the current design?)
The tooltip "View Advanced Player" comes closest to being informative. If we
could come up with a reasonable icon (and are technically able to put it over
the video in an unobtrusive way) we could use the same tooltip. (I would change
it to "View in advanced player", though.)
In the meantime, I would agree that putting it below the player would be
better, and I'd change the link text to "View in advanced player".
