Hi Folks, As part of the 1.2 integration testing for the Epiphan device I've run into an interesting issue. The device outputs a three-stream avi file, with the #0.2th stream being the camera. When the Epiphan device has a VGA signal I get the following output from ffmpeg, and the both video streams in engage.
Input #0, avi, from '346/track-1/capture.avi':
Metadata:
ISFT : Lavf52.32.0
Duration: 00:01:02.60, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 935 kb/s
Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 1024x768 [PAR 1:1 DAR 4:3], 30
fps, 30 tbr, 30 tbn, 30 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 44100 Hz, 1 channels, s16, 128 kb/s
Stream #0.2: Video: h264, yuv420p, 720x480 [PAR 1:1 DAR 3:2], 5 fps,
5 tbr, 5 tbn, 30 tbc
And when it does *not* have a VGA output I get the following output from
ffmpeg, and two copies of the camera stream in engage.
Input #0, avi, from '321/track-1/capture.avi':
Metadata:
ISFT : Lavf52.32.0
Duration: 00:01:01.20, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 912 kb/s
Stream #0.0: Video: h264, 1024x768, 30 fps, 30 tbr, 30 tbn, 60 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 44100 Hz, 1 channels, s16, 128 kb/s
Stream #0.2: Video: h264, yuv420p, 720x480 [PAR 1:1 DAR 3:2], 5 fps,
5 tbr, 5 tbn, 30 tbc
Does anyone have a clue why this is happening? The only major
differences between the two are the yuv420p and tbc fields, and those
don't strike me as the kind of thing which our processing engine would
do weird things with, much less decide to drop a stream. Both video
streams output a nice "No Signal" frame when they do not have a signal,
so it's not like the VGA stream is 0x0 or something...
Help!
