Rubén Pérez Vázquez commented on MH-7953:
-----------------------------------------
It may have to do with some problem unpackaging... the message is not accurate,
it may be something unrelated with the version, but it's hard to know because
the output of "make" is redirected to "/dev/null". A better (and quicker)
workaround than switching your OS is:
a) run install.sh
b) when you get your first prompt, click ctrl+c to exit
c) copy the file /tmp/cainstallscripts/install_vga2usb_drivers.sh to the same
folder where install.sh is
d) edit the line "make &> /dev/null && make load &> /dev/null" to "make && make
load"
e) try to correct the underlying problem(s) that (hopefully) the output
messages will indicate
f) post the output in this ticket if you cannot figure out (but I'm sure you
will do)
g) thank me if this procedure works :-)
Best regards
