Josh,

I checked the distribution server, in /var/matterhorn/felix/matterhorn, and
matterhorn-working-file-repository-service-remote-[version].jar is not deployed.

Any other thoughts?

Your search service is returning an HTTP 500.

2011-07-06 12:08:48 WARN (RemoteBase:155) - {POST

at
org.opencastproject.search.remote.SearchServiceRemoteImpl.add(SearchServiceRemoteImpl.java:71)

This is because of an IOException from being unable to load a metadata catalog:

org.opencastproject.search.api.SearchException:
org.apache.solr.client.solrj.SolrServerException: java.io.IOException: Unable
to load metadata from mpeg7 catalog

at
org.opencastproject.search.impl.SearchServiceImpl.add(SearchServiceImpl.java:368)

That path looks strange to me. Does your distribution server have the
matterhorn-working-file-repository-service-remote-[version].jar deployed? It
shouldn't...

Hi all,

Please check out these log files when you have a chance. Apologies for not
leaving these on a site like pastebin, but they were too large…

I have a distributed server setup using a NFS share for data. There is a
/var/matterhorn/felix/conf/config.properties file on each VM server that simply
tells the local machine who it is. The remaining configuration information has
been inserted into system.properties, and placed on the NFS share (simlinked
from /var/matterhorn/felix/conf).

The issue in the log files seems to reference a problem with the service
registry, but I don't know where to go from there.

Josh or Tobias, please feel free to comment on this…

Thank you!
