Hi Lovemore,

I'm not 100% sure but an upcoming event is although a workflow that has been started. So the data is duplicated in a way. If you delete the event in the scheduler with the REST endpoint the workflow is probably still there and will be displayed (although the event is removed and will not be recorded anymore). You will although have to stop the workflow with the workflow REST endpoint. If you stop the workflow only without deleting the event, it will probably still be recorded, by the way...

If the recording is already in the processing phase, you will not need to remove the event.

Hi Guys
Here is a very peculiar case. In the admin U.I. there are several failed recordings that cannot be removed. These range from failed captures still in the "Upcoming" list, stalled recordings still under the "Processing" list and those under the "Failed" list.
I get this error when trying to delete one in the "Upcoming" list:
/INFO (SchedulerServiceImpl:552) - Removing event with the ID 3499
WARN (SchedulerRestService:247) - Unable to delete event with id '3499': org.opencastproject.util.NotFoundException: Event 3499 does not exist
/
Those in the "Processing" list have no delete/remove control.
Those in the "Failed" list give an alert saying "Could not stop Processing." Nothing is reported in the logs. Is there anyway one can clear off these recordings. I believe they are indexed by Solr hance a bit tricky to remove.
Thanks
