Josh and I have worked closely for the past 4 years on Matterhorn and
other projects, and he is no doubt one of the most talented people I've
worked with. I echo everyone's sentiments, and wish him the best in his
future endeavors. As Matterhorn's project manager, I relied heavily on
Josh's leadership and vision to help grow Matterhorn and without him it
would have been a very rough road. Although Josh is moving in another
direction, he has left a significant legacy. Matterhorn will continue
to grow and prosper thanks to Josh's work, and UC Berkeley will remain a
strong contributor in his absence.

I'd like to let you know that I am leaving my position with UC Berkeley next
month. Although my involvement with the Opencast Project and with Matterhorn
will be winding down, I am pleased to report that UC Berkeley will continue to

helping with bug fixing and documentation in the evenings and weekends through
September.
