Hi Chris, Adam, Greg and who else may care,
we prepared the confidence monitoring branch for the merge back to
trunk. We merged the current trunk into the branch to check if
everything is still working. We will merge this to trunk in the middle
of next week.
It would be great if someone could check that the modifications work for
the hardware that we do not have here for testing (like the bluecherry
cards and different sound cards).

I guess we can commit an updated based on this branch for live video
monitoring/streaming soon after we merged it back to trunk. Waldemar did
a great job in optimizing the code so that the video and vga H.264 RTP
streaming, the confidence monitoring and the recording altogether still
run on our quite slow Dual Core Pentium 4 machines.
