Yes, if you see a FAQ and have a question, and you can edit the page,
then add it.  If you can't edit the page and want to, then just ask on
list to be able to.

No, its part of the release docs.  And I think it works as part of the
release docs (anecdotally lots of the questions answered on there are
no longer being asked, I think it's nice and prominent).

And, I wouldn't try and backport changes to this or other pages in the
release docs part of the wiki.  It should be considered more like our
"trunk" of documentation; people might add things to it for 1.3 that
are not relevant or compatible for 1.2.

If you really want your change made for both future docs and for a
previous release just apply it in both places,
