Hi Ruediger, I'll leave the details to Adam, but I think the experiment is to change it into straight h264 and push it over RTP to an encoding server. So for the live streaming something like wowza will be needed.
This will have a little challenge, since Red5 can't do it. So if you want live streaming you need FMS, Wowza, etc. So I don't see the other form of confidence monitoring going away (still useful if you don't have a streaming server).
