This source path (/opt/matterhorn/trunk/docs/log4j) was inserted automatically for me on eclipse:eclipse. I did a fresh checkout, a fresh eclipse:eclipse, and these log4j errors started showing up.
My guess is because it's in the main pom, so eclipse:eclipse adds it to the source directories.
