If the community has consensus on a good default for FELIX_HOME (perhaps
"/opt/matterhorn/felix" for unix-like systems), it could be used consistently
in the current scripts. A README could note that a global FELIX_HOME will
override the default, or to update install scripts to match a non-default
configuration.
