Adam McKenzie commented on MH-8397:
-----------------------------------
The substitution uses freemarker (http://freemarker.sourceforge.net) and the
unique track id so it will look like:
${.vars[\"track-1\"]}
So a full example is:
filesrc location=${.vars[\"track-1\"]} ! decodebin ! filesink
location=${.vars[\"track-2\"]}

> Create a "gstreamer-runner" pipeline workflow operation. It should take as a
> parameter a string representing a gstreamer command to run. This string
> would be turned into to appropriate gstreamer-java objects when run. The
> pipeline should allow for substitution to media files inside of the gstreamer
> package, something like ${/track-1/myfile.mpg}. Resultant files do not need
> to be added to the media packages (just available to future workflow
> operations. Question: Is this possible? If not lets put it in the media
> package, but delete it afterwards, there is no need for longer term storage
> of the exported files.)
