After converting to MySQL and the latest 1.3.x, using the latest DDL script
with no auto-DDL, and removing the required multi-tenancy thanks to Tobias'
most recent changes, this problem has gone away.
I am very suspicious that some type of multi-tenancy bug was causing this
problem and that it will return some day.
For now the status as release blocker may be removed.
