Hi, We need to add a new permission to videos for instructors. We're planning to add it as an "analyse" string, and to update the UI to allow this to be set. If set, people in a given role would be able to run the analysis tools on a lecture.
It seems that permissions are just handled as arbitrary strings and we can just add it to our application code and set it on the back end without having to concern ourselves with specifying it in a schema or data structure somewhere. Anyone know if this is not true (or not the way we should proceed)?
