Greg, I can assure you that after my patch everything worked fine, the branch
(and the branch merged into the trunk) has been tested for a while.
After the patches that followed the player was completely broken.
But of course I can have a look at it tomorrow!
Edit: Just tested it, with my latest code commit ( revision 12009 ) and
everything worked fine. If you want to have a working trunk you have to revert
it to this point. I will check out every following revision now and check which
one broke the player.
