Hi Christopher, I'm interested in this project idea and also had mailed on the mailing list but I didn't hear anything from your end.
Regarding this project, I have proficient knowledge in using Python and few of its other libraries, though personally have not yet used PIL or openCV, but I have some knowledge of using Image Processing using MATLAB, if that helps. Currently, I am learning android application development and I'm comfortable to use Java. Please let me know of how I should go about this procedure.
