Well at least it crashes right away, might be able to find it quicker :)
Could you try changing in the
/opt/matterhorn/felix/conf/services/org.opencastproject.capture.impl.ConfigurationManager.properties
file:
capture.device.Epiphan_VGA2USB.type=EPIPHAN_VGA2USB
to either:
capture.device.Epiphan_VGA2USB.type=V4LSRC
or:
capture.device.Epiphan_VGA2USB.type=V4L2SRC
Depending on whether:
v4l-info /dev/epiphan_vga2usb
Has v4l2 device info or v4l device info at the top.
