Rubén Pérez Vázquez commented on MH-1206:
-----------------------------------------
Galicaster (http://www.galicaster.org) by Teltek Video Research provides a
touchscreen-ready interface that enables the instructor to control the
recording. Administrators can configure Galicaster to allow/forbid specific
actions (for instance, the instructor can pause the recording, but not
start/stop it, etc.).
There's also a configuration flag that defines which type of recordings takes
precedence --scheduled or manually started recordings-- when a manual recording
is active at the time a previously scheduled recording should start.
Galicaster can also be controlled remotely via VNC, providing the same in-room
capabilities.
See this task parent for a more complete list of features.
> As an instructor, I want to start/stop lecture recording (for a dedicated
> appliance), so that I can control the capture of my lecture.
