Please join us for the first entry of a new series of Opencast webinars. Opencast Matterhorn is a free, open-source platform to support the management of educational audio and video content. Institutions are using Matterhorn to produce lecture recordings, manage existing video, serve designated distribution channels, and provide user interfaces to engage students with educational videos. In this webinar, Matterhorn Committer Rüdiger Rolf of University of Osnabrück provides an overview of the technical architecture of Matterhorn together with a status report on current development efforts. Mr. Rolf will also report on University of Osnbrück's record of deploying Matterhorn. Ample time will be included for questions and comments.
