Yes, it will.  People should not be developing new features at this
point, we're in the middle of a release and part of the reason that it's
such a mess is the three or four major changesets that went in and broke
things.  If I'm involved in the 1.5 release there are going to be some
fairly major rules involved in merging any branched features...
