Hi, I'd like to have a meeting after the dev meeting next week with the folks who have been following ticket http://opencast.jira.com/browse/MH-8756
This ticket basically says that the capture agent JVM crashes on 1.3 while capturing a lecture. We have reproduced this on 1.3, and have ruled out hardware issues (it's being demonstrated on a UCB machine and a Usask machine). Reproduction on 1.2 seems murky. We tried reproducing it last night on 1.2 and were able to pull off 15 captures at 1.5hrs with a 1 min ingestion gap without an issue. The agenda for this meeting would be pretty simple: 1. Adam will outline the symptoms being observed. 2. Adam will outline the investigations taken. 3. We will discuss the next steps. 4. We will see if there are others who can help test these next steps such that we could put things together for a 1.3.x fix. I'd like Adam, Kevin, Jonathan who have been knee deep in this issue to join the meeting. I think Rubencino, Ruediger, Micah, and Waldemar might be interested in the issue. Comments?
