Hi Edmore,
what do you mean with "too wide"? I remember that we made the very wide
unused areas left and right a little smaller (before the cut of the 1.4
branch end of March). In general there are is a proposal how the player
could look like in future releases [1] but we did not manage to get this
finished for 1.4. So it will be 1.5 or even later.
