Inspired by James Perrin's self introduction, I thought I should do the same. I have been attending the weekly dev meeting for a few weeks so most of you know you I am.

I'm primarily a Java developer but know some JavaScript (and Ruby) and am eager to learn more. I've been at UC Berkeley for a while in the Educational Technology Services department's Learning Technology Group.

I worked extensively with Adam Hochman, Josh Holtzman and Sergio Feria on Berkeley's existing Webcast application, that we call Webcast NG (Next Generation), which is going to be replaced by Matterhorn over the next months.

I did work a little on Matterhorn in the early days mainly building a module to store working files on Amazon S3 storage but for the past several years I have been working on our Learning Management Systems both old and new.

I am very glad to have been assigned to help out on our Matterhorn implementation, known in-house as Grizzly Peak, and am looking forward to participating in the Matterhorn development community.
