This is actually more complicated than it seems. Some of the structures that
break validation are things like: <span class="load-progress"
value="0"></span> . While, indeed, "value" is not a valid attribute for "span",
it seems to me that simply removing it will cause some UI malfunction. Fixing
this probably involves to explore how Javascript is operating on these
placeholders and figure out a better way of passing parameters.
Definitely this is worth more than 1 point, and it probably will take more work
hours than we can put on it within the bugbash scope.
