Dear All Here's a short summary of our December meeting:
Bug bash: The board would like to express gratitude to everyone who participated and Greg, David, and Rüdiger especially for organizing the event. Not only did we move closer to 1.4, we also have a number of developers moving towards committer status and a healthy group of contributors. We will continue along these lines in 2013. Unconference in San Diego: Slowly gathering pace, we have 30 registrations in the meantime. We would like people registered to consider booking their hotel room sooner rather than later at the Estancia La Jolla hotel according to the mail Michelle sent on Wednesday. Please submit proposals for sessions and/or talks and presentations. At the unconference, the board will outline its plans, goals, and strategies for 2013, which we continued discussing at this meeting together with the sponsorship policy. Your participation and input is welcome. General news: A good start to the German-speaking community (http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHDE); new developers to be hired at two institutions - watch the list for details.
