Hello,

We are running a cluster of about 150 processors with torque-2.0.0p5 and maui-3.2.6p11.
As scheduling policy, we rely mainly on group fairshare.

I would like to ask some questions regarding the "metric" which is used by maui to compute this fairshare, which are not completely clear to me after reading the Admin Manual.
I would like the metric to be used in the fairshare calculation to be cputime. On top of that, our cluster is an heterogeneous one, so we normalize the cputime and walltime for accounting in Torque using the cputmult and wallmult parameters in the pbs_mom config files.

It is not clear to me what should I configure in Maui so that fairshare uses this "normalized cputime" as metric.
First of all, I understand I need to set FSPOLICY to UTILIZEDPS, right? Otherwise, if I set it to DEDICATEDPS, a job that runs for 2 seconds but asked for 24hrs will be counted in the fairshare as having used 24hours.

Still, it is not clear to me wether there is a way to configure maui to use the following units as metrics in the fairshare calculation:
 -cputime
 -wallclock time
-normalized cputime (according to cputmult in pbs_mom config file)
-normalized wallclock time (according to wallmult in pbs_mom config file)

can somebody help me on this?

thanks a lot,
Gonzalo
