maui version: latest snapshot
increased MAX_JOB in msched.h to:
#define MMAX_JOB 32768
#define MAX_MJOB MMAX_JOB
We have a large number of jobs in the queue for this moment 20,000. When
i start maui it crashes with a segv.
My question is are there other sides that run torque/maui with a large
number of jobs in the queue?
Yes, sometimes. It's been a while since the last time but we had to
increase that one too.
Did this crashes maui?
As i recall we did suffer from maui crashing sometimes but it might have
been due to some buffer overruns that has been fixed since. The lastest
snapshot fixes one of those.
The crash was with the latest maui snapshot. I am now testing and have
now 6000 jobs in the queue without any problem so far.
